After breakfast, we will head to the temple complex where we will visit and learn all about Angkor Wat, Angkor Tom, Bayon Baphon and the Elephant and Leper King terraces. At lunch time we will eat at a local restaurant where you can enjoy a selection of local food.
By the end of Day 1 you will have learned all about the magnificent Khmer Empire, the history of Cambodia and the magic behind the Kingdom.
An early start will see us head to Banteay Srei, a serene temple in the North, where we will watch the sunrise over breakfast. After looking around and learning about the temple, we will head back to Siem Reap for lunch and a look around the old market. Later on in the afternoon, we will go to Tonle Sap Lake for a boat ride and to learn how life is on a floating village.
By the end of Day 2 you will have seen the different landscapes of Siem Reap, and discovered a whole new world of Tonle Sap and the floating villages.
On the final day of your tour you will visit two places where not many tourists have been, providing you with a glimpse of village life. In the morning we will head to a village where you can see the locals work and enjoy lunch with a local family. After lunch you will make your way to FKC School, where you will have a small tour and be presented with a gift before listening to some traditional Khmer songs sung by the school choir.
By the end of Day 3 and the end of the tour you will have seen the social and cultural side of Siem Reap, providing you with many stories and heaps of information for you to share with your families and friends back home.
